After nine years he has bring Senegal so far in a positive way. He restructured the country. He makes Senegalese people have hope and proud. Especially people who live outside of Senegal. 

In the past Africa has had a very negative image in terms of the presidency in Africa who are not working enough to developing their own country and helping their own people.

African people in Europe are not proud because their own leaders are not doing the right things. And that us why the media in Western Europe pick up on that and so, as an African abroad therefor the feedback on the homecountry is negative.

After so many years our president Abdulei did something or the Senegalese people. And he is fighting for Africa united. He started in Senegal. He started to make Senegal look better. Senegal is growing. We feel so sorry he has been elected so late; with the time he had till now he has accomplished so much.

And me, and my team ‘Lions of Africa’ have been supported him during his campaign in 2000. We have been performing before he would speech. We felt we had to support him because Senegal needed a change. That’s why we helped in our own way, succeeding in making a stronger public adress. It went well. We brought so many people, we helped to have audiences shift to President Abdulei’s favor.
