Lions of Africa

DOGTROEP - 15 to 28 January 2007

We were auditioned by Henk Schut and we passed the audition. From there we've been rehearsing for 15 days with other members of DOGTROEP in Den Haag Stadhuis. There were 15 different nationalities; Indians, Surinams, Americans, Japanese, Africans, Dutch, Iraqi etc. But the Lions of Africa caught the eye of the dutch public. And the media was particularly interested in us. The DOGTROEP organisation was very pleased with the performance of the Lions. Also the other members of DOGTROEP were very interested in watching our show. Lots of artists from DOGTROEP wanted to work with the Lions in the future. We were treated with lots of respect and got well paid. We want to thank Henk Schut for his support and also for his recommendations to other festivals.
