Female Lions of Africa

Our group's 'female lions' are auditioned and recruited among Senegal and Africa's most promising talents. Whether their performance backgrounds originate from Senegal's National Ballet Academy, the École des Arts et de Culture, or from the streets, these women are masters of their craft. Most of them are descendents of Griots, and certified dance teachers and performers.
Many of our lions have traveled the world touring, worked for prominent dance groups, and served as professional dancers on various music videos for traditional African artists/musicians' albums. These multi-talented singer-interpreter-acrobat-dancers are not only trained in traditional African folklore, but most of them also have a background in classical, contemporary, modern, and jazz dance.
